Office fit-out Glasgow

Torridon provided Cost Consultancy services on this high quality fit-out for the British Steel Pension Scheme (BSPS) who were relocating to 310 St Vincent Street. The building had been recently refurbished by the landlord to a high standard, and BSPS took approximately 5,000sqft of space on the first floor.

BSPS were relocating a team of 24 from an office described to us at briefing by our client as ‘dark, depressing and not enough spaces to take a break and get away from it all’. The team had been working remotely during COVID and our client wanted to use the opportunity of the move to create an inspiring to bring the team back together following their more regular return to the office. The brief for the design team was to create a welcoming space for clients of the scheme, with private areas for meetings, an open plan office and a variety of breakout / working spaces.

David worked collaboratively with the design team to come up with various options for what was possible in the space, creating a warm space throughout. This was the first fit-out that our client contact had completed, and our transparent approach to advising and reporting on the costs throughout meant that they were fully informed from the beginning so they could consider the best options for their team, with the budget implications in mind.
